We have a regular client for whom we have made conference map publications for I think 5 years now.

First year was Boston and we had our own map .

Next year was San Francisco and we used the mapping based on the Lonely Planet map by Draghtsman in London.

The next year was Washington DC, and we had International Mapping Associates adapt their mapping.

Last year was New Orleans and we couldn't find anything that met our needs that had been updated post-Katrina, so we built our own.

Now we need mapping for Seattle. I like Kroll's CBD mapping well enough, but there's not enough tourism points on there. The only one who has those points that I've seen is MapEasy, and we're looking for something harder-edged. Anyone have such a base already built or know who has one? I'm hoping not to have to build this pup from scratch...

Nat,

I was just in Seattle and used a very good map put together by Great Pacific Recreation & Travel Maps out of Bellevue, WA:

They may be worth contacting.

And we are now maintaining Great Pacific's maps for them, and talking about moving toward some redesigns and joint ventures. Let's talk.
