Apparently, the information was always available on http://earth.google.com/katrina.html and had been "reverted" back in September 2006.
But it looks like that might not be enough, as Rep. Brad Miller (D-N.C.), chairman of the House of Representatives science oversight committee, has demanded a response from CEO Eric Schmidt. http://democrats.sci...maps07mar30.pdf
No conspiracy here folks. (99.9% of the time, there never is.)
