At last years TED conference Hans Rosling, a Professor of International Health in Sweden presented a talk showing some of the statistical myths of global health. The amazing thing is the display of the statistical information and the way he can dissect it, as well as animate it through time.

Wow! The data is of course very interesting but as you say his display methods are phenomenal. It appeared that much of it was fully interactive too.

Yes, you can go to his site http://www.gapminder.org/ and get the Flash versions of his presentation and play with them yourself.
