Hello all,
I'm a long-time reader, first-time writer. I have learned many things about cartography by reading this forum, and look forward to even more by joining the fray. I'm drawn to cartography from GIS, which I've been doing for about four years. I studied physics in college, then abandoned it to join the circus (in the form of professional road cycling). I used many maps racing through foreign places and started realizing what I liked and didn't like about them. I've been studying GIS and cartography since. See you in the threads,
