Huge military topographic collection may be viewed at http://mapstor.com/. Military topographic map collection offered at http://mapstor.com/ represents more than 18000 digital images of Alps, Balkan, Carpathian, Northland, Karelia, Kola, Crimea, Caucasus, Ural, Altai, Baikal, Himalayas, Tibet and many other places. All maps can be downloaded for free or bought on DVD. By using search option, you may find description of a specific map as well as preview fragments of the map images. We are confident that these maps will prove to be a remarkable asset to you, just like they were to us during our journeys to Baikal, Pamir, Tian-Shan, and many other places.
Olga,
This is a very useful resource, thank you very much. Can you tell us whether the images supplied on the DVD's are un-watermarked (and in a georeferenced format?)

I'm sorry for not answering for long.
Me and my husband have scanned all these maps and we made watermarks "poehali.net" (because now our future project is poehali.org, the platform for gathering maps).
Speaking about georeferenced format, now we are working on it.
Best regards, Olga
