I'm doing a job on a Mac for the next couple of weeks, I usually work on PC so I am not familiar with some of the peculiarities of this platform. I'm having some performance issues with AICS running on a G4 Powerbook running Panther (10.3.9) and I remember something about corrupt fonts and a font cache needing to be cleared out once in a while. I don't remember the exact details but it was something that could seriously effect performance. Anyways, I am seeing the spinning beachball alot when pushing labels after a couple of hours of work on a file, usually a restart will clear it up, but that doesnt seem like normal behavior.

If anyone can direct me towards a solution it would be much appreciated.
