In a cartotalk showdown, I just beat Lui (by coincidence - I guess we saw this link at the same time) on the world map - I scored 5500 (I think we got an easy collection - no West African cities...)

To not risk losing in a rematch, I signed off the game after that... :)

Nice. The rounds get progressively harder it seems. Scored 4800 lol, but getting the hang of it - score is based on both speed & accuracy.

I thought the 'Jamaica sucks' Google ads at the bottom of the page were a perfect touch to a world geography site.

Frax,

5500 is great score....at least to me. I was able to hit 4800 and that's it. I am having a difficult time finding the correct country let alone the correct city! Africa and the Middle East are particularily tough.

Erin - you should have seen me and Lui - we were on the right country every time I think - he (she?) would have scored great if there wasn't one or two that were a bit off...

Well I've supprised myself with 7000+ score with one or two lucky strikes. I find out that usually is better if I'm fast and not so accurate.

I scored 7401 with a battery of incredibly lucky strikes! I can respect myself again!

Alas, I hit 5800, but only after 5 rounds.

The most humiliating moment is when you click on the complete opposite end of a country! Did that in Australia and Russia. :P

5800 in five rounds? You should stop working and go buy yourself a cold pint of beer. That's really good. I was playing the twenty round game when I scored 7401. It's now confirmed. I officially suck at geosense!
