Very impressive indeed. I can really see some benefit for map design: finally an entire map onscreen at 100% zoom... I wonder how long it will take to reach the market...

After having watched Steve Jobs keynote at MacWorld demoing the touch screen on the iPhone, I couldn't help but think this looked like a Steve Jobs dream on steroids. The pinch motions and the movements with inertia look very familiar. I just hope that this type of technology doesn't get hung up by lawsuits.
