The Globe Pequot Press is looking for a Map Facilitator to coordinate the creation of maps to ensure accuracy, schedules and budget.

Ideal candidate will:

*successfully juggle multiple projects
*meet deadlines and work within budget
*manage the map process from beginning to end
*work well with authors and editors to create map manuscripts, assist & answer questions
*have good knowledge of GPS & GIS
*have an intimate knowledge of source materials
*have a good network of contacts in the mapping industry

Globe Pequot publishes books on domestic and international travel, outdoor recreation, sports, how-to, history, fiction, health and fitness, cooking, and nature. Globe Pequot Press is the book publishing division of Morris Communications Company, LLC a privately held media organization with nationwide diversified holdings in newspaper and magazine publishing, radio, outdoor advertising, and computer services.
