URS Inc., the largest engineering firm in the world, is looking for an entry level GIS position.
GIS tasks will include GIS data management and research, data analysis, and map generation for the San Diego URS office. Areas of GIS work will include support for the following inter-office groups:
Environmental, Geotechnical Engineering, Water Resources, Traffic/Transportation Engineering, Site Assessment & Remediation, Homeland Security, Telecommunications and more.

Ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics and knowledge:
ability to perform in a multifaceted environment, spatial data conversion, geo-referencing and geodatabases. Any AutoCAD experience would be a plus.

Salary range is: $35,360 - $41,600 depending upon background/experience.

Requirements: ESRI software suite experience, BA in geography or related degree/experience.
