In my Illustrator CS1 there seems to be fonts that only Illustrator has.
For example I don't have (see) the Rosewood Font as installed on Windows, but yet it is present in my Type roll down in Illustrator.

Is there a way to remove fonts that are only found in Illustrator? Maybe something when you install Illy....
I did a web search to no avail...

Not a big issue, but it sort of bugs me, because I like to keep only the fonts I use on my system and would like it to be the same in when I work in Illy.

Thank you.

EDIT:
It seems that Adobe uses an additional (for ADOBE products only) font folder on Windows under
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts
Is seems to work in sink with a .lst file....

Anyway other comments are welcome.

Seems you already found your answer. Same as yourself I like to be in control of my fonts and for that reason first thing I do is go and take the fonts from that Adobe directory and put em into my font archive in an Adobe packaged fonts directory.

Not sure hoe the .lst file works but removing them has never caused a problem for me.Cheers,

Sam.
