Hello!

I´m searching for a free small-scale data set of the whole world. I only need country boundaries and maybe capitals plus major rivers. Is there any source one of you might know?

There's a few sample projects that came with Manifold that have data like that. Country boundaries is no problem, neither are the major rivers. Cities are a bit of a problem as I'm not very impressed by the accuracy (see my other posts here).

Anyway, I can supply this data in pretty much any GIS format you like. Please contact me privately (hans@redgeographics.com) to work out the details.
