Dear all,

I have a stack of locations for Italy formatted as:

name, DMS N,DMS E (Rome)

I'm assuming "(Rome)" relates to a local Italian origin because the locations are all around 1-5 degree E.

Googling this subject, I've found a reference to a 12 degree shift, I've tried applying this but the results
seem a little rough (objects that I can verify as onshore are appearing in the sea etc.) I think I'm in
the right ball park but was wondering if anyone had any further information relating to a shift or is
my problem the accuracy of the source data?

Many thanks,
