I was just wondering if anyone has any feedback on the new Adobe Illustrator CS2. I think it is out now.

It still doesn't play well with legacy type. We'll be hanging onto AI 10 for the time being for production. We have one copy for development and evaluation. We are far too heavily invested with files that just plain don't work with the new CS type engine.

I just got CS 2 (yesterday) -- am about to install it now. I am not sure I can give a good review though, since I feel a little bit new to the whole Illustrator world (I only use a fraction of the features).

I haven't installed mine yet either. I just did an upgrade from Panther to Tiger and then couldn't even open a layered Illustrator PDF that had legacy type in CS. I am thinking that CS2 would solve the problem, but I feel frozen like a deer in the headlights.
I figured out a workaround but I am feeling sensitive about upgrading anything right now.
The few comments I've heard about CS2 are positive however. I haven't heard anything about how it works with Avenza's stuff.
