If you haven't fired up Google Earth today, I suggest you do. There's been a truly massive data update. A lot of new data in Asia, Australia, across the Pacific (many islands) and Africa.

Check out the snowy mountains south of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatky :P

WOW!

I wonder how often Google updates these pages that show the extent of their coverage?

It would be nice to have a current "hotsheet" outlining the dates/resolution of their coverage.
