"I
had a hard time deciding where to post this. The Seattle Green Map
project is looking for some pro bono map work. The full information
follows:

----------------

Seattle Green Map is a
coalition of local volunteers working to promote a sustainable Seattle.
We're seeking design help for the first release of a print version of
our map of local green resources:

Seattle Green Map needs a pro bono information/map designer for a potentially high profile local project.

Scope of work could include:

Seattle Green Map print version
Logo and graphic identity for Seattle GreenMap, print and online
Redesign of Seattle GreenMap web site
Modification of the interface of the existing interactive GreenMap

We are open to a division of labor between a print oriented information designer and a web designer.

About GreenMaps:

Green Maps identify local sites relevant to a greener way of life and a
greener city.

""Green Maps are locally created maps that chart the natural and cultural
environment.
Using adaptable tools and a shared visual language of Green Map Icons
to highlight green living resources, Green Maps cultivate citizen
participation and community sustainability in hundreds of places around
the world."" - http://www.greenmap.com

We utilize the GreenMap System icons to label sites, but have local control over all other aspects of the map design.
