Hi!

One of my client have asked me for a "Map Order Checklist" (might not be the best English translation, but ... ;) ).

Basically, she'd like to have a checklist of info to give me when asking for a map.

Something like:

Media (print, web, ...)

Size (size of the screen, format on paper, etc)

Layers: Countries, hydrography, ...

Does anybody ever see a list like that?

If not, I'll create one and try to post it back here (but I'd prefer to start from something existing).

Thanks!!!

This is cut/pasted from a service agreement for a large scale hiking map.  Not really a check list but it mentions the major layers that will be on the map and their source.  Usually I have Utilities (powerlines, etc) and Transportation (train tracks, etc) but this map is mainly in a wilderness area so those layers don't exist. Hope that this helps you.
