Denver Central Library on Friday and Saturday, September 15th & 16th.

Denver -- On Friday and Saturday, September 15th & 16th, 2006, the
Rocky Mountain Map Society will host the Sixth Annual Rocky Mountain
Antique Map Fair at the Denver Central Library located at 10 W. 14th
Ave. Pkwy. On Friday the Fair is open from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., and on
Saturday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Map Fair offers map dealers, buyers
and traders an opportunity to hobnob with fellow enthusiasts.

See thousands of maps from the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th
centuries. Some are very rare. All have stories to tell. Prices
range from $10 to $10,000. See history graphically. Find where your
family originated. Indulge your travel fantasies. See California as
an island! Collect a piece of history. Antique maps are art,
history, and mystery joined wonderfully together.

The Map Fair is hosted in partnership with the Denver Public Library,
home to an outstanding collection of western maps, and the Rocky
Mountain Map Society. The Map Fair has an international appeal with a
local flavor. We strive for diversity among our dealers and we plan to
have a wide variety of cartographic treasures available. More than 15
dealers from the United States and Europe are expected at this year's
Fair. Visit the Society's Web site at www.RMMaps.org for a list of
dealers exhibiting in past years, and more information.
