I was thinking of maintaining a map-of-maps for this year. Basically a map showing the outlines of maps I've made in 2015. For the time being, I'm putting it up on Google Fusion Tables, maybe I'll do a proper map at the end of the year.

I've rigged up a little FME workbench that takes the bounding box of a map I've produced (exported as a shapefile from whatever application I've used to produce it) and upload it to Google Fusion Tables along with some additional information such as the date, map title, and a description of the project.

Not a whole lot in it right now:

I haven't found a way yet of only sharing the map (I'm not sure whether I necessarily want to share the table by itself, or have it be downloadable), or how to have overlapping maps clickable. Suggestions are welcome of course.

Interesting, will be nice to see what it looks like at the end. Would be a bit boring for me to do the same, I feel that a huge chunk of my maps are global thematic maps... !

I'll make sure to post it at the end of the year :)
